My Carbon Footprint: Problems & Solutions

Carbon footprint is something related to global warming. It’s the measurement of person’s activity which effects on earth’s climate and it’s weighted with the carbon dioxide emitted. There’s a test you can try to know your carbon footprint, I got 2.7 in this test which means that I’m living in 2.7 earths.

I’m going to outline some problems and solutions for this dilemma.

My problems related to this topic are many. The first issue is the overuse of car. I used to depend on walking too much but after I got my driving licenses I rarely walk. The second one is turning on lights even I don’t really need it. Sometimes I just turn it on to make the room brighter. Final problem is that I don’t recycle the things I use. Whenever I finish eating opening a new tool I just throw the box in the trash can without thinking about the consequences.

Turning to solutions, the first answer is that I could use public transportation more and also walk if the destination you’re going to isn’t that far. It’s also a good way to remain in a good shape and keep healthy. Another solution is to turn off the light and any electrical item when I don’t need to use it. If all of us think about the enormous amount of electricity we waste then they will change their life style for real. The last answer is to recycle all the boxes, papers… etc. The fact is that recycled items needs less energy compared to the new items factories make.

To conclude, the first steps the world has taken are very important and also has a promising hope. It’s should be our priority to save the earth we live on for the next generation.
